Lynda Allison
With an eye toward building confidence in writing and presentation skills, Lynda facilitates and directs seasonal writing and drama workshops and camps. In her writing workshops, participants explore the creative process, improve writing, editing and critiquing skills, investigate publication and have a great deal of fun.
An honours graduate from Trent University in English and History and graduate of York University, Faculty of Education, Lynda enjoys writing and teaching. Creating memorable lesson plans that actively engage students and ignite learning is a personal passion.
Serving two years on The Writers' Community of Durham Region board of directors as public relations coordinator, events coordinator and president and assisting The Word Guild with beginning their youth writing track connected Lynda to two superb writing communities.
Lynda’s writing publications include newspaper and magazine articles, book reviews, children’s and adult fiction and drama.
